Obituary for Mary Ella O'Brien

Mary Ella O'Brien
A memorial celebration for Mary Ella O'Brien, 66, who passed away September 27, 2016 will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave. Holly Hill with Willey Lowe officiating. A native of New Orleans, LA, Mary moved here from that area in the summer of 1989. She was the guest services director for the Nautilus Hotel for many years. Mary made many friends at the Nautilus over the years. She was the adventurous type, who loved to travel, dance and sing. Mary brought a smile, laughter and a party everywhere she went. She was a meeting maker and a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 25 years. In lieu of other remembrances, donations in Mary's memory may be made Volusia County Intergroup, 1635 S. Ridgewood Ave. Suite 107, South Daytona, FL 32119. Survivors include her daughter, Zoe Lee Greeney, Daytona Beach; her brother, Thomas Patrick O'Brien (Susan), Metairie, LA; 2 grandchildren, Shae O'Brien Ellison and Jake Arron McNeeley both of Daytona Beach.
