Pauline “Paula” Bryan Hayes was born on March 3, 1966 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania to John and Carol Hays. She passed away on September 30, 2016. Paula resided ½ block from Times Square in Manhattan for the last 10 years. It had been her lifelong dream to line in New York City. She worked in retail and customer service at Lions Pride and Walmart. While living in New York City, she worked as a nanny. She also worked full-time in the deaf ministry at Assembly of God Church in State College, PA. She loved to laugh and smile while spreading cheer everywhere she went. She was known to randomly hand out hot McDonald’s meals to the homeless on the street in New York City. She loved going to the gym every day. She loved the Lord tremendously and her number one love was studying and memorizing the scriptures form the Holy Bible. She loved the color pink and her cat Phoebe. Paula is survived by her mother, Carol Hayes of Daytona Beach, FL, her children, Thomas W. Klinesmith of Tampa, FL, Michael P. Klinesmith of Pinellas, FL, and Sgt. John S. Bancroft (US Army, stationed in Iraq doing his 3rd tour), her sister Sarah Hayes, of Daytona Beach, FL, and her namesake 90-year-old grandmother, Pauline D. Hirsehbiel of Philipsburg, PA. She has four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Father, John E. Hayes and her brother Eric J. Hayes and two daughters Crystal Bancroft, 8 years old, and Danielle Bancroft, 7 years old.
